Clachan Bridge is a famous Scottish tourist attraction, and its popular name is ’The Bridge over the Atlantic.’
It is the only road link between mainland Argyllshire and Seil Island. The narrow strip of water is Seil Sound where the ocean flows through very vigourously with the tides.

Some are good. Some are brilliant. Some are mediocre. Some are poor. Some are bad. Some are evil.
How many are there? Millions. Billions perhaps. No one knows for sure.
However, the Internet is a brilliant tool for disseminating information and for getting it. What was life like before the IT revolution? Remember that it was only on 30 April 1993 that the Internet was made available for anyone to use!
God has given his people the privilege of using this worldwide opportunity to spread the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Some Christian sites are good. Some are brilliant. Some are…
Unhappily, false religions have infiltrated some Christian sites, and even distasteful or unhealthy sex promotion advertisements appear on others. And of course, there is plenty of misleading teaching to be had.
But, praise the Lord, there are many wonderful clean websites to visit.
We need discernment on the Internet!
We are trying to make our Links page as helpful as possible, especially to those who feel the need for more searching ministry relevant to the condition of the church, primarily in the UK.
We cannot guarantee that every site to which we provide a link is correct in every detail – very few are, because we are all fault-prone people.
Most sites have a variety of pages and sections on differing topics. Therefore, although we link to a particular page on a site, we may disagree, or have serious reservations about issues that are discussed on its other pages. Just as on the Worldwide Web, we need discernment with every Christian site. Our own site certainly won’t suit everybody!

For some searching ministry about Revival –
Go to Aeron Morgan
This is a sample of his ministryfrom his article ‘Who Will Stir Himself to Take Hold of God?’ –
“We have gone far too long without a Revival of any significant proportions. Much of what has been claimed as ‘revival’ in recent times has proven to be far removed from what is the genuine Biblical visitation of God. The honest confession of many ministers has been that they were totally disillusioned with what was claimed to be the ‘end time revival’, and which they had unthinkingly taken on board.”
Elsewhere in his writings, it is refreshing and encouraging that a minister, whom God has used in the UK and worldwide, should be so ready to search his own heart while exhorting others to search theirs. That attitude is not too common today.

C. H. Spurgeon, 1834-1892, exercised a powerful evangelical ministry in London, and gained the respect of the nation, including many of its leaders. The following extract from his preaching will show that he would have been thoroughly relevant to much of the evangelical church in the UK today.
Feeding Sheep or Amusing Goats
“An evil resides in the professed camp of the Lord so gross in its impudence that the most shortsighted can hardly fail to notice it. During the past few years it has developed at an abnormal rate. It has worked like leaven until the whole lump ferments.
The devil has seldom done a cleverer thing than hinting to the Church that part of their mission is to provide entertainment for the people, with a view to winning them.
From speaking out as the Puritans did, the Church has gradually toned down her testimony, then winked at and excused the frivolities of the day. Then she tolerated them in her borders. Now she has adopted them under the plea of reaching the masses.
“My first contention is that providing amusement for the people is nowhere spoken of in the Scriptures as a function of the Church.
If it is a Christian work why did not Christ speak of it? ‘Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.’ That is clear enough. So it would have been if He has added, ‘and provide amusement for those who do not relish the gospel.’ No such words, however, are to be found. It did not seem to occur to Him.
Then again, ‘He gave some apostles, some prophets, some pastors and teachers, for the work of the ministry.’ Where do entertainers come in? The Holy Spirit is silent concerning them.
Were the prophets persecuted because they amused the people or because they refused? The concert has no martyr roll.”

Wake Up, O Sleepers!
That is the title of a sermon preached by Rev Geoff Thomas of Aberystwyth on July 3rd 2005.
His text was Ephesians 5:14 “This is why it is said: ‘Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.’ ”
Here is an extract:
“Arouse yourselves! Is the god of this world asleep? Do principalities and powers sleep? Are they less dangerous today than they used to be?
In Jesus’ parable he described how, all the work ended, the ploughing and sowing over, that then men slept, anticipating an automatic harvest and full barns. But then the enemy arose and sowed the tares.
So it was that in the years following 1904 with its revival, that modernism and false doctrine were taught everywhere in Wales, in the theological colleges, and then in the pulpits, and then into the pews it seeped.
It was a time of ecclesiastical prosperity, of large congregations and ministerial eminence, but then Christians slept and unbelief was spread. When ministers and elders should have been watchmen and guardians they turned over instead and went to sleep. The enemy had no resistance in sowing his tares.
“An unwatchful church soon becomes an unholy church.
A church which doesn’t guard carefully the truth as it is in Jesus will become an unsound church and a degenerate church.”

If you need information about the thousands of Christian hymns and songs that have been written, there are some good websites out there. Because of the wealth of material available on them, some are a bit complex to navigate.
Here are two that we have used.
